  • We believe that God has revealed God’s self fully to the world through the person and work of Jesus Christ. By God’s Spirit, we become members of the body of Christ to enable us to grow fully into the likeness of Christ.

  • We believe that God wants us to be in partnership with other faith communities and service organizations to embody our unity as the Body of Christ and to enable us to be more effective in bringing God's Kingdom in Logan Square and beyond. LIVING INTO GOD'S ALTERNATIVE VISION


  • We believe that God’s Word reveals an alternative vision for the world--a world of “shalom” where everyone shares in the fullness of God’s blessing spiritually, economically and socially. We believe that God has begun to “make all things new” through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As a new creation in Christ (1 Cor. 5:17), we live into God's new world.

LIVING INTO RECONCILIATION


  • We believe that the world is broken because of personal and corporate sin (our self-centered acts driven by fear and anxiety). God invites us to be reconciled to God through the cross of Christ and to be reconciled to one another. This demands ongoing honest reflection, personal and corporate confession, repentance and restoration.

SEEKING JUSTICE FOR ALL CREATION


  • We believe that a right relationship with God demands that we live out right relationships with the rest of God’s good creation. As a result, we are committed to social justice, peace and environmental stewardship.

WELCOMING ALL PEOPLE


  • We believe that God wants all people to participate in the new creation. We are Angl@, Latin@, LGBTQIA+, straight, married, single, children, teenagers, parents, and grandparents. Though we self-identify in diverse ways, we are committed to God's radical grace and inclusive love that was embodied in Christ.
